Heuchera ‘Pinky-Panky’ is a beautiful new release in the dazzling world of colourful Heucheras.
It forms a dense mound of most unusually coloured foliage.
With rounded leaves blushing with smoky pinks, purple and grey-green tones, and flashing deep purple backs.

Pretty ‘Pinky-Panky’ was recently bred in Belgium by “Mr. Heuchera” – Dirk Scheys - who has introduced some of the most exciting new Heuchera cultivars.
Clive and Di Larkman of Larkman’s Nursery were visiting Europe in the search for the best new plants to bring to Australia and were stopped in their tracks by the colours of ‘Pinky-Panky’ (who would not be?).

After much work in quarantine and trials – exciting Heuchera ‘Hanky-Panky’ is now available to Australian gardeners through Larkman’s Nursery and Di’s Delightful Plants.
But Dirk Schey’s groundbreaking work with new Heucheras has not just been about new colours.
He has also devoted his breeding skills to improving the hardiness, health and form of his Heucheras.
So Heuchera ‘Hanky-Panky’ is compact and neat (with an evergreen foliage clump 15cm. High x 25cm. Wide).
It also has improved resistance to winter wet and summer dry compared to older cultivars.
Plus improved resistance to sun scorch.
As well as an ever-compact, neat shape just perfect for lighting up a small garden or feature pot.
So, plant your Heuchera ‘Pinky-Panky’ in a shaded to partially shaded site.
They relish dappled sunlight, full shade that is well lit by reflected light, or a position in morning sunlight but afternoon shade (to get the most out of those sensational foliage colours).
Though they can take more sun in cooler areas.
Do not let those gentle, delicate colours fool you - Heuchera ‘Pinky-Panky’ has remarkable resistance to periods of dry once established, and thrives on normal, average garden water. Providing it is not baking in the sun of course.
It is not a thirsty plant despite the lush looks.
It is not a heavy feeder and prefers soil with plenty of humus and summer mulch instead.
They make excellent pots that glow with colour all year round.
‘Pinky-Panky’ is also a low maintenance plant – with only a light trim needed occasionally to remove spent flower spires and freshen foliage.
