Order Handling and Shipping

We have been shipping plants Australia wide for over 25 years. This is a very tricky business indeed! Not only do we have to pack your plants so they arrive in premium condition and ready to plant we have to ensure that your order meets specific government requirements for shipping plant material.

Every state and territory has its own quarantine department and they all have thier own procedures and requirements regarding the movement of plant material into their territory.

Although these procedures are costly and time consuming they are there to protect the diverse environment that our beautiful country has developed over time and reduce the impact of the ever increasing movement of people and the things they love, in this case plants.

WE ARE VERY PROUD TO BE ABLE TO SAY THAT WE ARE ONE OF A VERY LIMITED NUMBER OF NURSERIES WHO ARE REGISTERED TO SHIP PLANT MATERIAL TO EVERY AUSTRALIAN STATE AND TERRITORY.

For you this means you get the plants you want and not the weeds, pests and plant diseases that you don't!

We also appreciate that when you start thinking about your garden you want to unwind from the daily 'grind'. We strive to offer you personalised attention and answer your queries with the attitude and experience you would expect from a fellow gardener. More often than not the person who takes your order is the one who packs it into the box and sends it off so when they are doin this they are thinking about how it will arrive on the doorstep of Mrs Smith, not customer 1245B!

Packaging and Shipping Costs

Unfortunately we can't 'flat pack' your plants and we can't leave them in transit for weeks so we can't absorb these costs in the plant prices. We do however make sure that we keep these prices as low as we possibly can so your total invoice still presents great value for money.

Quarantine Surcharge - $4 (NSW, NT, SA, Tas, WA only)
